1980 - 100 Years in Business

George Lodge & Sons celebrates 100 Years in business.

1965 - Company Move Premises

George Lodge & Sons Ltd move into custom built premises in English Street, Hull, East Yorkshire.

1930s - Fourth Son, George

The fourth son George - a qualified marine engineer, joins his father and brothers. The sale and repair of machine tools and electric motors is introduced.

1920s - Ransome and Marles

Offer the Company a Distributorship and the use of their logo, which is still used today.

1880 - Business Founded

By George Lodge as metal and machinery merchants. Pulleys, lifting tackle, safes, anything made out of metal bought and sold. In time joined by three of his four sons, Albert, Percy and Herbert.
